STATEN ISLAND FERRY DRY DOCKS FOR DRIVE UNIT REPLACEMENT
Caddell was awarded the NYC DOT contract for drive unit replacement for one of the Staten Island Ferries. The ferry fit into Caddell's largest dry dock easily. Caddell's workforce immediately began the dismantling process and under the careful supervision the drive units were removed. After the drive units were overhauled, the ferry was reassembled and ready to return to her daily routes navigating the waters of New York Harbor.
